Glänö is a Danish island located 10 km southeast of Skælskør between Karrebaeksminde Bay and Basnæs Nor. Glänö is of 5.6 km ² and has 63 inhabitants 2006.
The island is connected to the mainland, Sealand with a dam of about 100 m. The central parts of the island is cultivated, but the coast are a number of wetlands,
where many birds, including many avocets.
In addition, these areas are staging a number of migratory birds, and a portion of the surrounding land is protected as game reserves, including Basnæs Nor area

Dragør is a very small village situated at the island Amager 12 km south of Copenhagen.
The old part of the town is a cosy, picturesque maze of alleys with yellow painted houses,
red roofs and cobblestone streets built in the traditional Danish style.
Many of these buildings are hundreds of years old. Municipal has a population of app. 20,000 people.
I was born and lived here for six years.

A week vacation in a rented cabin in a small town, Aalbæk
about 20 km / 12.5 miles from Skagen. The album contains trips to:
Grenen, Skagen, Råbjerg Mile, Sandmilen, The Solitaire Church,
and ferry to Læsø with our bikes.

Most of the flowers in the album is dahlias named after Swedish 18th-century botanist Anders Dahl.
Dahlias are originally from Mexico, where they are the national flower. The Spanish discovered dahlias in the mountains of Mexico. In 1872 a box of Dahlia roots were sent from Mexico to the Netherlands. Only one plant survived the trip, but produced spectacular red flowers with pointed petals. Nurserymen bred from this plant, which was named Dahlia juarezii with parents of Dahlias discovered earlier and these are the progenitors of all modern Dahlia hybrids.

Lassen winning the design competition in 1997. The name Aros is the Latin words for the city Aarhus, while the capitalized letters of the name
hint at the Latin word for art, namely ars.
