Here's a large file of a USA first ever record of a Cross-barred White. And a Frosty-tipped Clearwing which is apparently the first US record in over 100 years.

CONGRATULATIONS RANDY! What a fantastic find for your 15 minutes of fame. Wish we were back in south TX with all the other great leppers. Instead we are in FL with warm balmy weather but no exotic butterflies.
Again, top notch photos of this GREAT butterfly! I think I like the ambience of this photo more than the one taken with the 10D, but that is more than likely the more pleasing background color...
