I bought this henna at a store in Brooklyn for 3 dollars a box...I decided to try it and these are the results..If I like it and find that it does the job just as well as Jamila, I will stick to this since it is way easier on my pocket book..

What's in it:

Henna- 70%
Amla- 10%
Shikakai- 10%
Brahmani- 5%
Tea- 5%

I have no idea what kind of tea....and I don't know what Brahmani is..( I even Googled it but found no luck)...lol

I'm glad I got shikakai and Amla too...and I don't have to bother about using lemon juice or anything..everything comes in this one box...soo...let's see how it works.....

Yes indeed I did....I had some split/damaged ends and I evened up my hair once and for all but I cut it in a sort of layered look.....I must have cut about two inches or more....I am all about the health right now and it'll grow back before I know it....My hair did well with frequent washes and was growing nicely until I stopped....I realize that keeping it moist/wet does it well...henceforth I embark on a challenge to keep my hair moisturized daily accepting no excuses....

Sooo...I did some Jamila henna on Sunday...I applied it about 10ish,slept in it all night and rinsed yesterday followed by a deep treatment I made.....The results????...

I MIXED THIS WITH WARM WATER AND A BIT OF HONEY.....I APPLIED TO ENTIRE HEAD AND LEFT ON FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF [RECOMMENDED TIME IS ONE HOUR],THEN RINSED AND SET MY HAIR IN BRAIDS WHICH I LEFT IN FOR THREE DAYS AND THEN UNDID . SORRY I DON'T HAVE PICS WITH IT IN MY HAIR. I COULDN'T FIND MY CAMERA..THIS IS THE RESULTING BRAIDOUT.ENJOY!

I DID A BENTONITE CLAY TREATMENT.IT CAME OUT BEAUTIFULLY.MY HAIR WAS LIGHT AND FLUFFLY AND FELT VERY CLEAN.DEFINTELY WILL BE DOING THIS ON A MORE REGULAR BASIS.

I UPDATED SOONER THAN I SAID SINCE I TRIED AUBREY ORGANICS CONDITIONER(HONEY SUCKLE ROSE AND ISLAND NATURALS) HERE ARE THE RESULTS.....I HAVE TO SAY I DIDN'T NOTICE ANY DIFFERENCE WITH THE AUBREY ORGANICS CONDITIONER BUT I AM GIVNG MY HAIR TIME TO ADAPT FULLY...OR MAYBE MY HAIR ISN'T AS BAD A SHAPE AS I THOUGHT....

In the first set of picturess my hair is without any product whatsoever(no leave in conditioner or anything, just hair).I washed it and pulled it back in the shower.My hair is in it's naturally frizzy state.Then I let it out for you to see what it looks like..I love my coils!
