He was a pitcher for the Atlanta Braves mid-sixties to some time in the seventies. After that, he became Sheriff of Dekalb County. It was purchased from his ex. This was unknown to me until members of the community stopped to talk when getting my mail or engaged in yard maintainence.Guess I live in a "landmark" house.LOL
