here you can see progress on the passanger side rear fender arch.. which is one of the most painful fabrication experiences I have endured..
its made of 7 pieces.. all of which have finger joints at each end.. all of which are a pain in the neck.. the c piller intersects at the rear door, and the rear post caps the last piece with a lap joint..
this should have taken longer..
but alas.. what you see was completed in 5 hours..
(i do however have the good fortune of having already built the other side.., which took 30 PLUS hours!!!

it doesn't look like much has happened.. but when you consider that each piece you make requires all the others to be disassembled.. and reassembled.. its significant..

a few shots of the woodie with my buddy don's wheels and tires in place.. it just so happens that his wheels were identical to those that I intended to run.. and furthermore wore the same size tires. these are merely mockup photos..

the ultimate wheel for any oldsmobile an accessory 51- 52 olds wheel. this is a hybrid however.. the clock, horn button, and horn ring are stock pieces. the remainder was fabricated in house. Eventually I would like to have the wheel Chromed.
