The Activity Director plans numerous events throughout the year. Past events have been, Pool Party, Seminars on; Desert Dangers, Mamals of the Desert and Senior Employment, Appreciation Dinner for Volunteers, Employee Dinner, Water Conservation Seminar and Museum Presentation, to name a few.

Each Month a resident or club reserves our Gallery wall for display of their art work, photos, painting, needlepoint, etc.

Interested in Cards? We have a wide variety of cards played including Bridge, Canasta, Hand and Foot, Samba, 500, Euchre, Poker, Sheepshead and others. Also, games played include Dominos, Mah jongg and Trival Pursuit.

Many craft activities at the Village Center. Our Craft Club holds an annual Craft Faire. Besides our Craft Club other craft activities include, art, basket weaving, quilting, crochet, scrapebooking and card making.

Sunflower Fitness Club has various fitness activities including water aerobics, land aerobics, tai chi and stretch and tone. Fund raisers are held to assist the fitness club, in the expense of instructors, such as the Caberet Show in 2006 and bake sales.

We currently have two hiking groups, Liz Gunn's Hiking Club and Sombrereo Hikers.

Tom Flanigan and his crew several times a year prepare and serve pancake breakfast and also hold hamburger and sausage cookouts. Tom and his crew also cook the main dish for several of our pot lucks.

Fun Poker - play various versions of poker. Have tournaments regularly. Play weekly. Join us at the Village Center.

This club has monthly dinners usually with entertainment and they have a dine out event each month. This will show miscellaneous pictures from events. Most events had a theme such as a St. Patrick's Day Dinner.

Our Resident singers entertain the community at variour concerts; Ice Cream Concert and Social, Spring Concert, Christmas Concert and at Various Club events. Chorus Conductor is Millard Bolt.

Socials are held for new residents to meet some neighbors and make new friends. They come to learn about the meaning of living in a community with a Homeowners Association as presented by the General Manager. Other Club members present information regarding their activities and upcoming events.
