I took part in a community arts project in July 2004. My former editor, Julia Cheng, invited me to participate in photographing the Longsjo Classic. This is a four day bicycle race held in and around Fitchburg Mass. I concentrated on a first time racer, Natalie Dumont.

For the two days after the passing of Pope John Paul II I was assigned to record how a parish on Long Island had to press on with its ministries.
