This artwork is very good considering the layers used to create, which I can never get to work quite right anyway...anywho, I love Carey's writing. When reading her books, you can't help but think you're the main character experiencing all of those adventures, love, and pain. Tis quite exciting I must say. Kudos to the artist, and joie to Carey.

Yes Ive taken on Phedre's name. Ive been using it since, um half way through Kushiel's Dart. Ive read all three books and wish there were more. Carey is so talented and I love her work. I am getting a tatoo of the rose on Phedre's back on the base of my back. I love the books that much. I give my praise to Carey.
