SenegalStyle Bed & Breakfast is run by Da JembeQueen herself, Sineta George, originally from Pensacola, Florida. I've been living here for almost 10 years and we have had hundreds of folks coming through here for drumming over the years. The B&B was the next step in a gradual progression that has come first circle since me and MY FAMILY first got off the plane in Senegal and were literally, 'Strangers in a Strange Land!' To that end, we have opened up our home to you to make your travels a little less bumpy and help with arranging and organizing your tour so your time spent here will be pleasant and as stress free as possible. We live simply, and like everyone else in Senegal. BUT EAT GOOD!!! The house is clean and most importantly, BUG FREE. Long term rentals (garage apartment) with kitchen privileges available for monthly rates. Our rates are reasonable (12,000 cfa local money, 15,000 cfa includes dinner) and also have a MOTORSCOOTER TOUR SERVICE so you can see the best sites off the beaten path, those that are NOT listed in Lonely Planet, quickly - then go back and explore at your leisure! Of course the locals like me know more about all the BEST BEACHES, coolest things to see, best artist communes, than the tourist guidebooks! We offer tour 'guidance' and bilingual female interpreters to day trips. We also feature African drumming lessons on the beach and a shopping service to help you get the most out of the markets.
