The San Francisco Bay to Breakers race was born six years after the 1906 earthquake. Over the years, the race has mushroomed in size: popular enthusiasm for running in the 1980s pushed race participation to 110,000 by 1986 — making that year's race the world's largest footrace, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

We "ran" the race in 1 hour 45 minutes, the Kenyan winner did it under 35 minutes.

A friend and I visited 3 or 4 vineyards while in the Napa Valley on a beautifully sunny day.

We went up to Pocono Raceway and did 3 laps as a passenger and then drove solo for 40 miles (two 20 mile sessions) on the 2.5 mile tri-oval track. While the car doesn't have a speedometer, the tachometer max reading for me was just over 8500 RPM which translates to just over 185 MPH!!!! It was a truely amazing experience....the g-forces on the track, the banking on the turns, just amazing!!

The Lakota Wolf Preserve has Bobcats, an Artic Fox and a Red Fox in addition to the Wolves. I spent the afternoon shooting these amazing animals.
