The 2008 Federation Conference was held at St. George's Greek Orthodox Church in New Port Richey, Florida.

The long awaited trip to Greece accompanied by His Eminence, Metropolitan Alexios visited monasteries and convents.

This wonderful CMI was taught by Professor Rodney Eichenberger, internationally known teacher of choral directing.

St. Sophia had the pleasure of hosting a CMI for "those who are directed and for those who direct" with Professor Rodney Eichenberger.

The clergy from the 26 or so Orthodox churches in the Southeastern Florida area joined together at St. George's Greek Orthodox Church in Hollywood. The pan-Orthodox choir sang Russian music in English, which was a surprisingly well received and well balanced counterpoint to the otherwse strictly Byzantine vespers service.
