Fantasy of Flight bills itself as the "World's Largest Private Aircraft Collection". The art deco facility is home to over 50 rare and vintage aircraft, taking visitors back to the pioneering days of early flight, World War I, World War II and beyond. Most of the aircraft in the collection are airworthy and may be seen flying. They were painstakingly acquired by lifelong aviation enthusiast Kermit Weeks, a skilled aerobatics competitor and aircraft designer. Fantasy of Flight is located near Polk City, Florida (about 20 miles southwest of Walt Disney World).
