The Bird Squad , 3rd Platoon, Lima Company. 3rd Battalion, 9 Marines in honor of Corporal Amos Osborne and Sergent Fletcher Seeber. -
Sgt Fletcher Seeber was a friend, classmate and fellow Marine who extended his enlistment in order to serve in Vietnam. These images are photos of his squad, 2nd Squad, 3rd Platoon, Lima Company, 3rd Battalion, 9th Marines. Lima Company (re)landed in Vietnam on March 1, 1967 after a spending a short time in Okinawa for refitting. March 1, was Fletcher's 21st birthday. The company was involved in heavy combat close to the DMZ. One operation they took part in was Operation "Hickory". The photos, probably including ones from Fletchers camera, were for the most part, taken by Corporal Amos Osborne, a squad member, and later, the leader of the squad. Fletcher was killed on June 21, 1967 by a grenade blast. Amos would be killed on September 18, 1967 by enemy small arms fire. The reason that Amos is not pictured in the squad picture is because he took the photo. I just recently found out the correct information and names of the Marines pictured through the good graces of Rita Osborne Dale, sister of Amos, who was only ten years old at his death. Also many photos were donated by Kenneth Seeber, Fletcher's only surviving brother. I created this album to honor these two brave Marines and to keep their memory alive. - Album was created 8 years 8 months ago and modified 7 years 11 months ago

The Life and Times of Lottie Izez Lovelace - Jan 7, 1999
-
I found this family picture album in a thrift store a few years ago. Apparently Ms Lovelace had no surviving family members. Her life story was in these few pictures, which I bought for two dollars.Inez was born in Union City, Tennessee on May 14, 1902 and died in Knoxville, Tennessee on March 27,1996. Ms Lovelace left nearly one million dollars to the University of Tennessee. December of 2004 I was able to return the album to a family member, Taliaferro Cooper. Taliaferro along with sister Charlotte are pictured in the album. They are the great grandchildren of Lacy Jane Fry. - Album was created 10 years 10 months ago and modified 10 years 9 months ago
