- This is when I started using my new Canon Powershot Pro1 camera, and man did I have a blast with it. :) I loved (and still love) the vivid photos it produces and its awesome supermacro mode for extreme closeups.

- I had lots of fun experimenting with new angles and Photoshop effects this summer. For these shots, I was constantly switching between the Canon Powershot G1, G3, G5, and A75... none of which actually belonged to me! At this point, anything seemed better than my wonderful but limited Powershot S30.

| | | - Earliest shots (2004)
- I remember the excitement of taking my first digital camera -- a Canon Powershot S30 -- out to school every day. I spent hours snapshotting everything I found remotely interesting, then carefully editing the best shots at home. I miss those innocent, eager days when picture-taking felt more passionate than calculated. At least I've learned a lot since then. :)
