A small gig i went to that i was going to review for the Bower Ashton Newspaper, but the issue came out like three weeks after so i decided to run something else.

Yeah an Ice-Cream Exhibition! can you believe it?!?!

A little party I was lucky enough to attend, with some friends and my lovely gf from Cambridge. Good times! Ooh and some pictures from Cheddar Gorge, which we visited after, seeing as we were local.

As I was coming home from work, I saw a REALLY bright light coming from South West Bristol along the river. So i stared at it for a while trying to figure out what it was. Was a huge Meteor heading our way which was going to turn humanity blind so that alien plants could take over? Was someone jumping off the Suspension Bridge? What the hell was going on? So I cycled towards it on my bike and eventually found out it was coming from the top of Ashton Court, and it looked like a huge floodlight (well two one was hidden a bit). So I went home and borrowed Miriam's camera (cos its automatic-fantastic and I don't have lightmeters on any of mine), and went to check it out.
Cycled up to Ashton Court and jumped over the fence into the Deer Park bit, spooked some deer and went back to the path. I was going to head up the track into the Estate, but a Police Car drove ahead of me so I got my phone out and got on my bike and went home.

I emailed Ashton Court to find out what it was and I got this in response:
"Didn't see them myself, as I like to go home about 5, but Casualty have been on sight for just over a week, you may have seen thier vehicles near the Golf Course. They were filming some nights shots for a June episode and because of bad weather it took them longer than it they thought. But they had arranged feesand permision with the film department at Bristol City Council, so it was all above board and legal. So what the tv closely in June."

So not as interesting as I thought.. oh well

i found this and two other films in my fridge in cambridge so had them processed and dont recognise the people on this film, so if anyone recognises them please leave a comment about them and i can return the negs.

A school trip to Portland Isle, for stone carving and relaxing. Ended up being stonecarving and getting wet. But still a throughly enjoyable week.

By the way the shit quality of pictures is due to two things. One i left the film open in a changeing bag for about a week, where it got scratched, and marked and mushed up a bit. And secondly I left the film in the dev for too long, hence the crazy amount of grain, and lack of contrast (if I added too many filters then the picture pracically disappears).

Oh there will be some new ones up in a bit, once I finished off the film and develop them.
