Victorian Parlour

Last October while I was visiting my friend Cheryl in Nova Scotia, she took me to a 'downsizing' sale a friend was holding.

Now I don't do period rooms but two pieces in her collection just screamed "Buy Me!" - which I did.

The room finally came together over the past week. You can read all about the journey on my blog

Update: July 2013 A couple years ago Judy Mitchell gave me a Victorian doll she had made that I had always wanted to go in this scene but she wouldn't fit. At the Estate sale I bought a wonderful chord organ by Penny Spence that I used to replace the grand piano - and that allowed me to change the scene once again.

The teaset (lower far left) is by Janice Crawley and sits on a set of nesting tables from Shoestring Miniatures of Winnipeg.
