Leanne's box

This is a box built for my physiotherapist without whom my elbow would still be in pretty bad shape. I've not given it to her yet, so I hope that she likes it.

The box's main body is figured beech with extra walnut bits. Finish is one coat of Danish Oil followed by three of satin varnish.

You can see the construction, but I was quite pleased with the way the dove tails worked out. Cutting out the base has given a pleasant light casket feel to the piece I think.
