Dale Earnhardt, the seven-time NASCAR Winston Cup champion, died following a last-lap crash at the Daytona 500. 2/18/2001

There may have been some that did not like him in the racing scene and others who wanted to be like him...he was a legend during his life and now will forever be a legend in Nascar. My heart goes out to his family for their loss and pray that he may rest in peace.
