Lourdes in Litchfield, CT   RSS
I visited Lourdes of Litchfield - built by the Montfort Missionaries, the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes (a replica of the grotto in France).

The 35-acre grounds have the Stations of the Cross along a pathway thru the wooded area. I don't think a person has to be religious to appreciate the beauty here but many are and some came in wheelchairs for solace and prayer. I personally found it to be really peaceful and the setting in the trees was beautiful.

Some photos of the autumn colors in our area. Litchfield County, CT is a very beautiful area.
