We must be a little ahead of you. We are getting buds breaking an leaves appearing now.

Aren't daffodils a wonderful sign, I have them in my garden, the first one always lifts my spirits.

And Castle Craig is still beckoning.

Finally, a real sign that Spring might get here after all.

This is, indeed, a great park. Lots of variety. There is something for just about everybody.

It is worth the trip up to Castle Craig. The view from the top of the tower is nothing less than awesome. But don't be surprised once you get there. The tower is it. There is nothing else to the castle. I was last up there in October of 2005. My pix from then will give you a hint of the view.
