Indiana Jones gets filmed in New Haven, CT

Steven Spielberg is filming another Indiana Jones movie starring Harrison Ford and they have taken over an area of downtown New Haven and renamed it "Bedford, CT" The storefronts have been changed to reflect 1957 and the displays in the windows also. The cars and trucks are all from the 50's. Here are a few photos taken while I walked around on Sunday. There wasn't any filming going on when I took these though - that happens during the workweek. They supposedly film for another week before they leave. I am hoping to go down again to see if I can catch some of the filming. Looking at these pics takes me back to an era gone and I found it all so interesting to look at. It reminded me of things from when I was a little kid. Maybe you will enjoy one or two of these pics as well and think back to a time long gone.
