We went to Murano in January, some of the glass was stunning and some of it quite awful..... this is really nice .....

That glass candy looks even more real when it is in the dish.

We do much the same thing, but not for ourselves. The mother of a good friend of ours (in her upper 80s) collects magnets. We get a great deal of fun trying to find just the one she will like that represents the area we are visiting.

It's always fun to buy one magnet from each place...small, fits into luggage without any trouble and not expensive.

Believe it or not, the music they played while people were shopping was fantastic...besides you spending your money in there, they entertained you! It is a fun place to go.
