Trinkets and Little Treasures

When traveling anywhere I buy something small to bring home with me...here are a few of the things I've collected as souveniers along the way. None of the Xmas ornaments are shown here - those are in the Xmas album.

    Some of the menu items
What are gratted carrots? Or is that gritted? or grafted? (gene-spliced?)
And yes, it is hard to have "boild" an egg!
What is a "duckling olive"? Don't want to even imagine...
Note: Half dozen is six snails too many...
Tuna in half shell? Did not know they reside there.
Dry sausage??? Ah, must be turkey kielbasa!
If I spent too much time looking at this menu, I would lose appetite laboring over its wondrous presentation!
I must admit, I have never photoed a menu. Got me there!

    Magnets from all around
We do much the same thing, but not for ourselves. The mother of a good friend of ours (in her upper 80s) collects magnets. We get a great deal of fun trying to find just the one she will like that represents the area we are visiting.

It's always fun to buy one magnet from each place...small, fits into luggage without any trouble and not expensive.

    Harrods in London
very British....very stylish too! I have never been at Harrods at Christmas but I can imagine it must be very special, it already is on a normal day!

Believe it or not, the music they played while people were shopping was fantastic...besides you spending your money in there, they entertained you! It is a fun place to go.
