New York City - Sunday - 3-30-08


Went into the city today with a couple of friends....we went to Chinatown - Little Italy and Canal Street and did some shopping... What an experience...the sun was shining and as the day went on the temps got up nicely.

    I find it not as impressive as Grand Central Station
    The best part of Penn Station was torn down to make way for the present Madison Square Garden. This is why it was so important that the entire Grand Central Terminal had to be saved.

    Upon entering Grand Central I look above the doors
    I wonder how many people dash through GCT every day and are totally unaware of this inscription.

    I do find it amazing how many don't take the time to see or read it. As I've said in my "about me" page: it's the little things if only we take the time to notice....
