The long and winding road
That leads to your door
Will never disappear
Ive seen that road before
It always leads me here
Lead me to you door

It was a long and winding road that took me to Vermont and a couple of covered bridges.

As I head North I take some pics while driving
I know - its a bad habit I have
Greenfield, MA - couldn't say it any better
This bridge was fantastic to walk across
Pedestrians are allowed only on one side
Looking over at a tree
The view from the French Kings Bridge
The view was fantastic but a little scary too
Very high up
I stop at the "welcome" building entering Vermont
This was really nice -it would make a nice home
Some of the farm equipment around the grounds
The sky was bluer than I'd seen it for a long time
moooo
Some color on the trees
Just looking around the area where we stopped
getting ready to go back to the highway
A wooden gate of interest
and a small picnic area along the roadside
Next stop will be in Brattleboro, VT
I saw a boat ramp leading down to a lake and I just had to go see
This was the little store at the boat ramp
People were taking out the kyacks and canoes
Such a peaceful way to spend the day
Here I go again - but it was a neat looking bridge
The first of the covered bridges in the Brattleboro area
Dummerston Bridge - longest covered bridge in Vermont - 280 ft.
entrance only 11 ft high
It was warm enough for swimmers
along the stream
a barn nearby
heading to the next bridge we find this cabin in a field
much smaller than the first bridge
hidden behind the trees
Williamsville, VT
a beautiful day
overlooking the area
Creamery Bridge - 80 ft - and a covered walkway for pedestrians
latticework on the sides
I'll follow the sun
Vermont Apple Pie
Vermont Garlic Cheddar Cheese
Vermont Pure Maple Syrup
