Spain - From JFK to Madrid - Just the beginning

Flying from New York to Madrid - these will be the beginning photos of my trip and I will try to identify them as I go along.

I took a lot of pics so I will be needing a bit of time to get them all in and I really want to put them in the order in which they were taken.

I hope you will enjoy some of what you see as I had the best time ever taking them.

It was a great vacation, the country is so beautiful and the people were really friendly. The foods delicious and the wine so smooth. Another thing, everywhere was so clean - no joke - very clean. Very impressive !

The people I traveled with were fun and we had many laughs along the way - I've made some friendships that will last for a long time.

    Fountain of Sybil in the center of Madrid
    Madrid certainly has some fine statuary I rather like this one.However a colleague of mine was stationed in Madrid for
    two years-he hated it.He claimed there was too much traffick and that in Summer the place reeked of traffick fumes.Did

      Actually I traveled in the month of May so the weather was beautiful with a slight chill in the air in the evening.  I spent only two days in Madrid before traveling south so I never noticed the traffic problem - I absolutely loved the entire country of Spain - absolutely amazing with the old and new architecture.  Clean, friendly and amazing.  I would go back if I get the chance.

    The city of Madrid from above - I'll put the camera away while we land and take it up again once I get to the hotel

    Part of the security team at JFK - he was wandering around our gate area hoping nobody would notice him but I think I saw a camera under his left wing
    I do see the camera under this left wing too! He looks like a good security guard! Wouldn't let anything or anybody past him. GREAT PICTURE! You really
    know how to capture a great moment. Too funny!
