Myra: As we left the Amalfi coastline area heading to the tip of Italy to cross to Sicily by ferry an intense rainstorm began.

It has been many years since I was in Italy. I was stationed just outside of Naples in the early 60s. In my off-time I made many trips to Capri. After you got to the top of the island--Ana Capri--did you go on down the other side to Marine Piccalo? That is where I would go to swim in the Med.

No - we came back down the same road we went up (after I did some shopping) - I thought Capri was beautiful. The blue-green waters were absolute perfection. I have a couple of photos that show the colors and each time I look at those pics, it brings back the warm sunshine and gorgeous scenery I experienced there. I was with some really good friends and we loved it. I bought my Limoncello diCapri there and still enjoy it. I absolutely love,love,love Italy.

We drove very close to the edge...their highways are kinda scary being so close to the edge of the cliffs. But the beauty takes away the fear.
