Tintagel Castle
Jul 7, 2006

On the way home we visited Tintagel Castle which is the legendary birthplace of King Arthur and home of Merlin the magician. Over 2000years of occupation it has been a Roman settlement. Dark Age Palace and Medieval fortress. However its history is still full of mystery, myths and questions, and its secrets have nenver been truly revealed. the 13th century ruins are set high on a dramatic cliff top with breathtaking views. A visit to inspire the imagination!
