The 12 acre arboretum was laid out in 1870's about the same time as Mr Osgood Mackenzie was creating the gardens ar Inverewe. Here at Leckmelm, you will find many splendid trees and shrubs, some rare and unusual, and a wide range of specie and hybrid rhododendrons. Many new trees and shrubs have been planted complimenting the original Victorian collection.
