The picture is lovely, I am not sure about it being framed after the slicing up...? -- I feel the same about the frame. I would have liked the background black but didn't know how to do that. Feel free to try. --- You know me...I tried and I cannot find it either! But I will not give up that easily...wait and see!
I like the frame Irene, good colour and not too much in your face! Try to make the 3 pictures slightly different by using filters...that will add even more interest! -- Will I have to do the picture over again as I didn't save the layers separate? ------ Normally I do 3 different pictures and put them together later...
I saw these flowers for the very first time at Inverewe gardens and I tried to find seeds ever since...did not succeed so far! We have them in white though, but not the blue ones and I love the colour! They are gorgeous! -- They have these flowers at Kerracher Gardens at Kyleskue and every year I get seeds from them. I can get you some if you want. I don't know what has happened to the frame at the middle of the top of the picture. It seems to be distorted. --- The distortion is caused by the filter you choose, you see a bit of the dark part of the branch in the frame....It is not a real distortion...have a closer look and you will see !You were a bit unfortunate having that light bit on top....just crop it a bit smaller and no problem! I would love to have some seeds ...that would be great!!! Thanks for offering, I really appreciate that!
I see you are trying different things too! It is nice, out of center, it works for wild flowers I think...cool!
---- I hope you don't mind me doing similar things. I was fiddling about trying out different things. This was the second take on this picture as I lost the first one but I liked it better but I couldn't reproduce the same thing. You know what like it is you forget what you did. You should write it down but you never do. -- Oh no Irene, why should I, as long as we have fun!!!:) That si the beauty of this digital stuff...you can change it endlessly!
Ahhhhh! Much better; this version is extremely well-done :) The white bands were very distracting in the first one. This one is whole and integrated. It allows the frame to be an enhancing _part_ of the image itself, rather than a distracting element _outside_ of the image... --- Thanks Aaron, it is always good for someone else to see the faults.
