I went with natural lighting on this on. Gives it its charm. By the time I get used to this camera they will come out with a better APC crop one. Its a sport's camera but does way better than my XTI. Next stop Full Frame.

UKV Baseball

This is staged every year to show students what the fire department, ambulance crews, and police officers do at a Motor vehicle crash. All the people involved are volunteers.It is based on the driver being intoxicated.

I took most of the pics from across Rt. 60, up on the hillside with a 200 MM lens and had the 2X extender attached. Hand held, seems like the tripod is missing in action, (left at a basketball game).

Izek got braces. Here is what they look like.

This game I used a tripod with remote switch and mirror lockup in some. Much improved sharpness at 200MM. Saved as JPEG, RAW would have been better....um next time...

well i thought that the 7D would do better at ISO 1600 than my XTI, but it look like it has noise also. It does seem like it has a better focus. The frame rate will let me capture the apex of a shot setting.

We Won...

Basketball. I used ISO 1600 (max for this camera), after telling myself that I would never do that . Instead of focusing on the players I focused on a area and clicked as they came onto the area. The pics are grainey due to the high ISO, It was a good lesson on "how to focus on moving subjects"

Christmas play at Church

Fire in Handley. Handley ,Pratt,Montgomery and Boomer Fire units were there. KCEAA did a fire standby. No injuries . 4 people resided here. The home was a total loss.
