Includes photos of Labor Day Chicago mini-vacation. I had been sick all week and planned to sleep in all weekend but Hubby decided at the last minute to book a package on lastminutedeals.com for Labor Day. Pardon my tiredness and tight eyes! Allergies! But We took an open air bus tour of Chicago. It was so much fun. Especially for a Photo Junkie like me! A few hair shots and a lot of scenery shots. I was very hot and still kinda in recovery so . . . Enjoy anyway!

    September Henna

    I finally got my Jamila henna and the time to do it! I first henna'd last year when my hair was still in the BC phase so I used about 50 grams. This time, I used the entire 100 grams since I have more hair. I added paprika last time to add reddish tones to my hair. I have enough red for now so to my henna powder this time I only added: warm water, apple cider vinegar and cocoa powder and jojoba oil for moisture. I wanted to see if it would tone down some of the reddish highlights. We'll see. I made the mix thick. I did NOT make a mess and only had a couple of splatters!
