September 2006: my first trip

Tiger 4x4 RV, 8.1L Vortec gas engine, Allison 6 speed automatic transmission. Itinerary: Western Sierra Nevada south of Yosemite. Sierra Vista Scenic Byway. Kaiser Pass road all the way to Lake Thomas A. Edison and Florence Lake; this was some of the toughest road I've ever driven. Lots of Sierra foothill back roads, both dirt and paved. Courtright Lake. Mountain Home Demonstration State Forest. If this Tiger looks unusually sleek to you, it's because I deleted roof A/C & railing.
