i'm a little over a week away from four years of me with locs, but i wanted to go ahead and start this album anyway. most of these pics are me with *gasp* a professionally-done style--a loc bun!!! also, my hair was professionally twisted for the first time ever. i think the style is beautiful, but man was my head hurtin' the first day! all of that hair was really heavy on the top of my head. a day later, and the pain had subsided.

hair (brows and close-ups of locs)...maybe other stuff in the future. who knows?

for those of you not familiar with my first album, i've placed these here for an abbreviated tour. Feb. '06 will represent four years of locs. i started from braids. if you want to know more, please peruse http://public.fotki.com/toy1/toys_hair_pics . i imagine most of your questions (if you have any) have been answered there. i really, really, REALLY don't like repeating the same information over, and over, and over again. ;^)

most of you may not notice it, but the roots are darker. it is clearest in the last pic (pic #5).

if you're seeking advice on locking from extensions or with relaxed hair, i am NOT the person to ask! IF, however, you simply need encouragement during those early stages, i'm here to offer it.
