Hautes Gorges de la Riviere Malbaie

Parc national des Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie was named after a series of valleys cut deep into a range of high mountains. They are the highest rock faces east of the Rockies!

    Fjord-du-Saguenay

Of the 2,130 known Fjords worldwide, only 38 are 100 km long or longer. The Saguenay Fjord is one of the rare fjords to flow into an estuary, and the only longest fjord at such low latitude, in both Northern and Southern hemispheres.

    Charlevoix, the River Drive

The Charlevoix region is not only a choice travel and gourmet dining destination in Québec, but also a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, a designation it received in 1989. Charlevoix is divided into six Secteurs, each with its own identity and features, and is home to an astonishing array of plant and wildlife. Taiga, tundra, three parks, a river estuary, a fjord, a marine conservation area, caribou, and whales can all be found within its borders. The region's grandeur is matched only by the hospitality of local residents, and by the charming inns, fine dining establishments, and vibrant arts scene that combine to dazzle and delight visitors.
