Jamie, Tasha, Leslie and Hugh went to San Francisco to take on one of the toughest 80K challenges in the Bay area - the Diablo Ultra. It definitely lived up to its name temperatures hitting as high as 90F and 13,340' of elevation gain but was an incredibly well organized and spectacular event. The calm area inside the break-waters was obviously a very popular place for swim trainging. It is also where one of the local paddling clubs is based and there were some out-rigger canoes on the beach.
