Jamie, Tasha, Leslie and Hugh went to San Francisco to take on one of the toughest 80K challenges in the Bay area - the Diablo Ultra. It definitely lived up to its name temperatures hitting as high as 90F and 13,340' of elevation gain but was an incredibly well organized and spectacular event. All the folks on Pier 39 watching the seals. According to the sign there are times of year when there can be 600-700 seals around the pier... which must be quite a racket given how much noise this much smaller number could make.
