NO MORE SILICONES OR SULFATES!!!

Co-washing with silicones? Ummm... I didn't know I was doing that until really early January! And I had been doing the CG method for about three months!! I was using Tresemme Moisture conditioner with the curly product line for the most part, with some Herbal Essence Totally Twisted conditioner and Aussie Deeeeeep Moisture and a SULFATE shampoo, and then added Dove Moisture Rich in December..... way too complicated!!!!!!! And so unhealthy for my hair! I think the curls got a LOT better, but I'm so glad I finally found out about silicones and sulfates!

These are a few pictures of the summer of 2008 while I was working at a 14th and Chestnut Community Center, a local Christian community center that is located in the "inner city" of Terre Haute. I love the kids, but I didn't love my hair! I thought keeping it short would help the problem... at least it kept me cool most of the time. I think I was using "Suave Professionals" at the time... NOT good for a curly girl!
