Today I received a Chrome TCI Tranny pan from my friend Dean, picked up plug wires from Advanced Auto, and a few days ago, purchased a tranny Filter and gaskets. Next payday, hoping to get a timing chain and some gears.

60+ today.... took the General Lee out for a spin....and skuffed it.. :(

A day or 2 before I did the online shipping request, but the credit card part wasnt working... last night I get a email saying my order was accepted. This morning I get a call from them stating the same thing, so I gave them teh credit card info. They said normally it takes about 8 days from order to arrival.... tonight I recieved these photos from my cars seller!!! Less then 24 hours after order, car is on the road!!! should be here in less then 48 hours!!!! YEEEE HAAA!!!

Baby got a Big Block!! Went to pick up the 360 I traded a 68 Charger fender for, but the guy wasnt able to get me the 360 yet.... so he gave me the 383 he had gotten for his car instead!!

The MOVIE GENERAL LEE parts arrived today, and LOTS of parts I need/could use on my Lee!! Also pics of the cleaned 318 from the Satellite.

finished engine istallation, radiator, etc.... after I get some tranny fluid, and some hose clamps in the AM, and some more work.. the Beast should be up and running TOMORROW!!!! :)

Drove it on the road today for the first time... besides around the block. Did 2 short trips of a little over 10 miles each.

Club trip to Knoll Gas Motorsports Park in Martin, Michigan... and the maiden REAL voyage of the Lee, and first trip on the highway...

Installed the CB & Horn today. Horn should be functional tomorrow after I get the correct connector clips, more hose, and relocate the compressor. (They do NOT give you nearly enough hose to mount things correctly.)

Built my portible garage today for the General. Will see how well it keeps the car high and dry... and if it works good... the cop car will get the blue tarp.

Gave him a quick ath (rinse off), pulled the ranny out of the garage, cleaned the heck out of it, and repainted it aluminum. Tomorrow I start on teh engine hopefully.

Engine painted today... and started putting on new parts.

Washed it, cleaned it out, polished the paint, and even vacuumed!! All set for the car show season! :D
