I picked these out of all that are posted. I either liked the composition or the content or both!

These restorations have been done using Photoshop. I just played with the program and figured some stuff out. I have had minimal instruction.

These were my five entries into the fair. My first time entering photos and I got 3 Honorable Mention ribbons!

Chris and I went to Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta in March 2003. These pictures were taken with my 1.3 megapixel camera or my 35mm camera (prior to my 3.2 megapixel).

Chris and I went on a long weekend trip for the Fourth of July in 2003.

This trip took mom and me from San Fransico to Monterey and Carmel and down to Cambria.

Chris and I stayed 3 days in Oahu and 5 days in Kauai. In Oahu we visited Pearl Harbor and the Missouri and went to the Paradise Cove Luau. In Kauai we explored a lot on our own and took a catamaran tour to the NaPali Coast and a Helicopter tour over the island.

I went to visit Chris in Feb. 2005. Among other things, we visited North Shore, the Zoo, Sea Life Park and the Polynesian Cultural Center.

Chris and I explored the largest of the Hawaiian Islands and it is also my favorite because of the diversity. We took a tour through Volcano National Park, rode horses like Paniolos at Parker Ranch, took a Zodiac boat tour to Cook's Monument where we snorkeled, and we went on a waterfall hike.

This was a long weekend trip for the Fourth of July. Chris and I made Bishop our home base and then traveled to the different lakes. These included Convict Lake, Mammoth Lakes, June Lake Loop, South Lake and Lake Sabrina.

This was a weekend trip with Tammy, Sylvia and John. We all explored the area, ate good food and went to the Dave Matthews concert at Red Rocks!

This was from my short visit in Sept 2005. There was an unusual south swell that created some big waves.

Chris and I went to Maui. We biked down Haleakala, zip lined through the trees, drove the road to Hana and explored everywhere in the Jeep. This was my first trip using my new Canon S1 IS PowerShot but the majority of the pictures are still my handy dandy Nikon CoolPix 3100.

These were taken on my solo vacation to Cambria with an echo tour up to Big Sur. Flowers, surfers, squirrels, elephant seals, birds, snakes and other flora became my subjects (unbeknownst to them).

Tammy and I went to St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. We took a few day trips and visited some of the British Virgin Islands and St. John. Tammy had a local connection so we were able to learn and see things in a different perspective and meet some cool people.

I went on a vacation to Oahu by myself. I did a few excursions such as hiking Diamond Head, kayaking, hiking to Manoa Falls, visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center and North Shore. I was there for the 4th of July too and watched the fireworks from the boat harbor.

I went to visit Tammy in San Fran. We went to a bar to watch the Red Sox game with some guys from Boston, went to a Bluegrass festival in Golden Gate Park, and picked out pumpkins at Half Moon Bay. Then we flew to Vegas :) We got to dance in the club with Mariah Carey, hang by the pool in our own cabana, dance with some guys from Scotland and eat lots and lots of good food!!
