This park was originally established as a refuge for sick and injured animals from Antwerp Zoo. Over the years though, Planckendael Park has grown into a full scale complex and rivals any zoo for its collections of wild and rare animals that have been brought together from across the globe.
They have reknown breeding schemes for endangered species and it is heaven for kids!
