Glen Torridon offers some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland. The ancient Lewisian gneisses are over 2 billion years, on top of these are Torridonian rocks of 700 million years old and the youngest are the pale grey Cambrian Quartzites at 570 million years old. Torridon is one of my favourite areas in Scotland despite the weather being unpredictable...the light and colours can be stunning. Glen Torridon - Kinlochewe - Inverness - Loch Torridon - Diabaig
