Thank you, it is gone now...been too cold this winter and I did not find the same plant again which is a pity. I am still hoping that it might be still alive but little chance I think...:(
I had a look at the raw file but apart from some normal conversions to jpeg and cropping away some of the ceiling I I did not do a thing here...no lens correction.
I like them on a tomato salad (the young petals are really tasty and look fab too especially on a potato salad with some mustard!)...they are nice in an omelette too...they sort of work with a lot of things.
well...they tried and ruined this beauty! it is way too fragile for the pond I guess...but it is recovering and we made it harder for the frogs to jump on it.
do not eat them too fast and they will flower like this...then you can use the young flowers in a salad...Do not cook them, they turn greyish and not so tasty....
