I took a motorcycle ride around the area and shot these pictures one afternoon.

On December 15 & 16, we had freezing rain and sleet which caused severe icing in our area. While we lost power for several hours, some folks lost power for days. We had just arrived back home from a short trip to Virginia over the weekend and were greeted by conditions shown in the following pictures. The clouds were just starting to clear and some of the ice had melted. I decided to take a bicycle ride and shoot a few pictures ... I ended up riding over 25 miles and took these. All in all, we were lucky!
