Thanks so much for posting this picture of my dream car! I was a car nut even before my dad let me sit on his lap and steer. When I was 9, we bought a 1959 Catalina sedan. I loved the newly modern broad front clip absent of any hint of rounded fenders, the aggressive face that resulted from the frowning split grille, and the unique double-finned rear fenders. That same year, my uncle bought my cousin a white 1959 Catalina convertible. Riding in that fulfilled all my dreams at age nine! I have wanted one of my own ever since. Someday, I'll find one.
