If the make of that car is "Metropolitan", my Dad had one when I was a kid. Probably his favorite car of a lifetime. Do You know the year? early sixties?

Helo Boyd, I realy love your cars that you build. I watch your show every friday nite. I am building a 28 lakes roaster pickup. I was wondering how is the best way to level a motor, I have a 6" level on the carb base plate. Its level but the motor looks strange in the frame. It is a lot lower in the back.Is there anouther way? Help...

P.S when you came to Australia for the 2001 Hot Rod Nationals in Hawksbury, Sydney, you chose my fathers car for your top ten. He owns a green model A tourer with biege trim and yellow steelies. Its was you who inspired him to purhase a Wescott Duvall winscreen for his 90% complete project: a '34 ford roadster with a 454 chev big block which produces a healthy 550 horsepower at the rear wheels. I am only 15 years and in roughly two years time i plan to travel to America to meet you.
Great shots of Coddingtons shop. I really like the aluminum Model A pickup. Any idea on how the torsion bar suspension works ie. where are the shocks? and what keeps the front axle from moving sideways as I cant see a cross link in the picture.
I'm saving this link to look it over when I have more time. Boyd Coddington is one of the most ambitious and talented customizers of the era, and this is an amazing collection. I'd like to look for '50's & '60's models of Plymouth & Dodge cars. Thanks for the list.
