HI...I am the builder from Greenville, SC. 1937 Ford fenders but the wagon part was bought in the mid 90's from someone in Ohio, I haven't seen any more like this. Body been dropped in the front for the hood to be even with the fenders. Contact me if you have more questions.

I really like this model. I am a former drag racer and enjoy building models of drag cars from the '60's and '70's. There is one mistake with the decal placement on this model. The B&M graphics on the quarter panel are facing the wrong direction. The figure of the guy shifting should be facing foward on both sides.

Were you allowed to enter diecast models at this show? This is a fairly new Danbury Mint release...Perhaps it was modified in some way?

Hey! That's my old trophy! Thanks for displaying it along with some very distinguished company. Sure wish I had the Bantam Altered roadster that won the award but it was destroyed in the return mail. If anyone has a photo please let me know. Happy modeling!

    Dave,

Have thoroughly enjoyed your pics and have a request of you.

The 58 Chevy in the middle of pic #525 is a Bob Barnett replica of the Limelighter that I finished for the museum display. As I don't have any pictures of it on display I would like to copy it to my desktop. It won't be used for anything else other than my own enjoyment.

    Thanks

    Bob Mako
