Is this a 48 olds woody....my grandfather promised me his and then sold it in 1982 for $3000 in great working order...some rot in spots, but had arust colored roof and could be id'd by the cigarette light burn mark I put in the vinyl seat when I was playing in the car when I was 7.

This is on page 48. Photo #749. Look at it full size, not just the thumbnail.

After all, he does call himself "Wacky Dave!"

I'm glad Dave was there to cover this outstanding event for all of us who couldn't make it! Thanks, Dave...

There's so much to see and appreciate. Dave, you have a good photographer's eye. I like the unusual angle of many of your shots.

This photo, however, REALLY cranks my tractor! The owner better not leave the keys in it while dashing in for a quart of milk. He'd have to walk home.

    Dave

As always thank you for your great coverage of the Wavecrest Event and the Thurday Classic Summer Nights gathering. Your photos captured not only the character of the cars but the flavor of the event. I encourage anyone that sees their car in this album of photos from the event to add a coment about their cars year and history of their vehicle. My car is a 47 Oldsmobile and was one of the chosen vehicles in this years Wavecrest poster. Hope everyone had a great time over the weekend all of us from the San Diego Woodie Club appreciate your attendance and participation in the show in light of this past weeks events. Jim Esposito

Two 1948 Oldsmobile woodies. Not many of these cars are still around. Car to the left owned by Dave Woody and car to the right owned by Darryl and Linda Easter.
