Korea Day 1 - Dec 24, 2005
-
The first day was very very very cold. We went to 南山韩村 in the morning. Go there to see Korea Houses(hanok) from the Joseon Dynasty. Then we went to the Korean Entertainment Hall of Fame(韩流馆)to see the displays of the props & posters of the Korean stars.
For lunch, we had ginseng chicken. After that. we went to Shinchon Fastion Shopping Street(no photos, because my sister and I were busy walking and window shopping). The place was similar to edge, but the stores will small shops selling clothes, bags, earrings etc..
After that, we went to Lotte World Adventure Park. Took some rides and after that went back to the Koreana Hotel to sleep. - Album was created 6 years 2 months ago and modified 6 years 2 months ago

Korea Day 2 - Dec 22, 2005
-
In the morning after a buffet breakfast, we went to the 大长今 theme park. We didn't explore the place as it was very cold. We are all "very warm" people.
After that we had lunch, bbq chicken and vegetables. After that, no photos taken. This is because we all went to Sorak Waterpia, a hot spring theme park. It was so so shiok. Running like crazy in the cold weather with your swimming wear and jumping into the different pools (outdoor).
After that, we had mushroom, cabbage, pork steamboat. The strawberries cost 10,000won(US$10), so damn expensive. This is because the weather there very hard to grow this type of fruits but the strawberries were really sweet.
After dinner, we went back to the condo, not called hotel at that place. My sisters and I walked around and found a recording-your-own-singing booth in the arcade. Never see this in Singapore. Then we went back to the condo and sleep. The room is heated by hot water pipes. Very comfortable. - Album was created 6 years 2 months ago and modified 6 years 2 months ago

Korea Day 3 - Dec 23, 2005
-
Had a delicious breakfast then we went back to the condo to collect our luggage and also to take some photos at the balcony. The view is super great!
We went to Mount Sorak National Park and took the cable car. Then we had to climb lots of rocky steps to see the Kwon Kum Seong Fortress. The view is super nice! But it was very cold and windy. After getting back down of the mountain, we went to Shinheungsa Temple to see a huge Buddha.
We had a lunch of bbq squid, pork and more cabbage. Then we travelled to the 5 Star Ski Resort and stayed at YongPyong Resort. We went skiing and had a fabulous time there! It was really fun, though I fell down twice.
Then we had dinner at the resort and went to make some snowmen (very small though). - Album was created 6 years 2 months ago and modified 6 years 2 months ago

Korea Day 4 - Dec 24, 2005
-
Took a photo of the fireplace in the resort. In the morning, we took the gondola ride(I thought it was a boat ride, lol..),actually it was a cable car ride. My sister took some photos of the people skiing at the slope.
Then we went to Dragon Peak, the highest point of the ski resort, where Winter Sonata was filmed. Took some photos where the characters acted. hehe.. Didn't watch winter sonata, so no idea how the show was like. Then took somemore photos of the scenery and also had a snow fight.
After that we went to slide down the snow slope by sitting on a tray. But I still find skiing more fun. Had pizza for lunch. Very delicious, lots of cheese!
Then we went to sleep for a few hours before heading out for dinner. Had Korean Traditional Steamboat and also celebrated Christmas eve. Our tourguide was so nice, she bought a cake and we pulled poppers.
After dinner, my sister and I went to the frozen river bed(it's a tiny one) to write names and also to lie down on one. Super fun and cold! - Album was created 6 years 2 months ago and modified 6 years 2 months ago

Korea Day 5 - Dec 25, 2005
-
We had a white christmas! It was snowing! So cool! Took a pop-corn vending machine outside Yong-In Everland. Everland is just like disneyland, with all the rides and cool decorations. We didn't sat any rides as my dad didn't want to buy. I also think it was not that worthwhile, because the waiting time for the rides are long. We only stayed for 4 hrs, and the waiting time for each rides could be up to 30min. We spent the time walking around the huge place and took lots of photos. My second sister spent the time by vomiting. She vomited 4 times on christmas! Must have eaten too much for breakfast.
After that we drove pass the Presidential Blue House and went to 3 stores selling korean ginseng, dong cong xia cao and amethyst factory. Took a photo of the ginseng. Look carefully. The ginseng has leaves and flowers and it is so huge. Never see a ginseng like this in my entire life. Very very valuable!
Then we went to Dongdaemum(东大门) Market, which sold alot of stuff. However, we only hv 2 hr to shop and eat. Furthermore, my sister kept vomiting, so we didn't buy anything at all. The place was so huge, 10 storey high and with lots of small stores inside like edge.

Korea Day 6 - Dec 26, 2005
-
Last day in Korea, so sad. Time passed so fast. Took the photos while walking to the bus and also some when I was on the bus. The flats are like our HDBs, but they are so much more nicer looking. The factory was blowing smoke, but it looked white. Guess it must be due to the cold and dry weather. My tour guide, niky. She was a great guide and we had so much fun together. Korean bbq for lunch.
A huge heater and the fan. You will never see these in Singapore. The other kids, along with my sis who is holding a monkey.
More pictures taken when I was on the bus. The guy was the photographer for our tour. He was really helpful throughout the trip and I think he is good looking. The other tourists.
More photos taken at the airport. We were quite bored as we had to wait for a few hours. The finished plate of spaghetti and my dirty sister. - Album was created 6 years 2 months ago and modified 6 years 2 months ago
