German Angel is the first Hispanic Television host to win the Long Beach "LB. Award" twice, during the 20th and 21st Annual Awards for Excellence in producing multi-cultural community oriented television programs. German has achieved local recognition for his ability to represent real life subjects with frankness while sympathizing with his guest and allowing them to reveal their dilemmas.

German Angel first appeared on public access television in Long Beach California Charter Communications channels 65.95.69 Today, Angel is on television in 57 communities, including Los Angeles, New York City, the Washington D.C. area, and Austin, Texas.

Humberto Luna & German Angel

Mr. Luna, whose career includes television and radio, is the only Hispanic radio personality to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Hall of Fame. "Humberto is legendary in Los Angeles," stated Charles M. Fernandez, President and Chief Executive Officer of Big City Radio. "Humberto and I worked together for nine years at Hispanic Broadcasting Corp., where his creative energy, hard work, and unique bond with the audience helped him garner consistently top ratings. Humberto is, in my opinion, one of the most original and humorous radio personalities in the U.S. Hispanic radio market today."
