Fernando del Rincón, co-anchor for Univision Network’s newsmagazine ‘Primer Impacto Fin de Semana,’ will be in different locations throughout southern California this week to present special reports. His segments will air LIVE on the regular edition of ‘Primer Impacto,’ 5:00 – 6:00 p.m ET/PT (4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Central/Mountain), through Friday, January 31.

In his first visit to California since he joined the ‘Primer Impacto’ team, Del Rincón will cover human interest stories that touch upon issues of particular concern to Hispanic viewers. A native Mexican himself, he will be up-close and personal with California’s important Mexican-American community, as well as with other Hispanic communities in the state.

Univision’s highly rated newsmagazine ‘Primer Impacto’ has won two prestigious Edward R. Murrow Awards and numerous Emmys since its launch in 1993. It currently airs seven days a week through its Monday-Friday (‘Primer Impacto’) and weekend (‘Primer Impacto Fin de Semana’) editions.
